Electric

I decided to take these babies out for a spin. I wanted the colour to stand out a lot and so decided to wear an all grey ensemble. I call it electric because it is reminiscent of that in my opinion.

A Vintage summer

I love vintage clothing. They are unique, well made and last a lifetime. In this post i am wearing vintage from head to toe. I have managed to collect quite a lot of vintage pieces as my love started probably a decade ago. This is the outfit i wore to church today and then i popped into my favourite cafe to have a smoothie.

The comfort zone

When i have a lot of errands to run i always go for comfort. I thought to quickly share an outfit i wore to go shopping yesterday in this hot London weather. Speaking of the weather, i think the temperature is too hot and i am really wishing for the cooler months to come. Yes, i cant believe i said so either:)

I am really loving my dalmatian flats this summer...and yeah...i nicked this lovely Ralph Lauren shirt from my baby brother. Yes, i have no shame hehe :)

Shopping adventures : The Little black dress

A well tailored little black dress is something every woman should have. Its timeless, classy and when in doubt it never goes wrong. I love my LBD's and over the years i have collected quite a number of them from vintage to brand names to the high street. when it comes to shopping, i never discriminate. On one of my shopping adventures in Harrods, i found this really beautiful LBD. I instantly fell in love with it. I  put together a look on how i would wear this dress. The craftsmanship alone is so amazing that i personally would love this dress on a mannequin display in my walk in closet. C'est magnifique.

That's me in the background marveling over this work of art. Nothing screams classy like a pair of sexy court shoes. when in doubt, think Louboutins.

Hope you like this :)

Adventures of a shopaholic : The gold dress

Gold sequins and beads on a peplum dress...This is LOVE!

I had fun last weekend shopping with the gorgeous Ama. She is the chief bridesmaid  at her friends wedding and the colour of the dress she is meant to wear on the day is gold. Now, if you live in London, then you know finding a gold dress (outside the winter season) is somewhat of a mission let alone a gorgeous gold dress. But i was determined...very determined. It was a lovely day with lots of sunlight but finding that dress was definitely a lot of hard work. By the time we were done, our feet hurt so bad that we ended up at a lovely bar in soho because we were so desperate for a drink. All in all, it was a fun filled day, with lots of sweet treats and laughter. here are a few dresses we liked :)

Peplum suit

I put this look together for a client who has a wedding event to attend. I decided to go for a more chic look to style my client as opposed to the usual traditional dress. I got a 'tribal' feel with this red jacquard peplum suit and i think it will look absolutely gorgeous on her. The shell shaped purse adds something extra to this look especially as i went for a sexy pair of barely there sandals. Real pictures of my client wearing this piece as soon as i have one.
